Leh still is one of the most amazing places in the world   Brokpas : The Aryans of the Himalayas At first sight they seem like any other “forgotten” tribe; some hundreds of people who continue to speak their own language and to worship their own Gods, isolated from the world. In fact the Brogpas live in a remote area of Ladakh, a region of the turbulent Indian Jammu-Kashmir State. A handful of passionate anthropologists and some adventurous tourists are the only “intruders” on their magic world. The Brogpas are not just another tribe. They are the last Aryans of the Kashmir-Himalayan highlands…
