From January till late April, the snow-covered slopes of Lebanon Mountains (maximum elevation 3.086 m.) are crowed with holidaymakers, not only Lebanese but also tourists from abroad. Skiing in Lebanon is trendy, is funny and certainly is weird. As it' s popularly said, Lebanon is one of the few places, if not the only in the world, where you can ski in the morning and swim in the afternoon.

Nowadays, although we know almost everything about Lebanon’s fossils, these “massive” fishes (some of them 100 million years old!) still excite our imagination. The Lebanese scientist and collector Pierre Abi Saad helps us to penetrate this magic world…
